Where To Stay

SMETCO is located approximately 34 miles south of Portland International Airport (PDX) in the historic community of Aurora, Oregon.  Visitors to Smetco can choose to stay in many nearby cities:

• Portland (34 miles North of Aurora)

• Tigard (16 miles North of Aurora)

• Tualatin (12 miles North of Aurora)

• Wilsonville (6 miles North of Aurora)

• Woodburn (8 miles South of Aurora)

All the above cities offer excellent amenities.  Each city is located along the Interstate 5 corridor which provides easy access from the SMETCO Aurora location to all points North and South.  Wilsonville is the closest city with numerous excellent hotel and restaurant choices.  Since Wilsonville is just 6 miles North of SMETCO's Aurora facility, it offers an easy and quick commute at virtually all hours.  Wilsonville boasts a wide variety of restaurants to satisfy most visitor's palates (so to speak)!

La Quinta Inn Wilsonville

The La Quinta Inn Wilsonville is relatively new construction, clean and reasonably priced.  It is located right off an I-5 exit so it is extremely easy to find.  This is the choice that most of our visitors prefer.

Phoenix Inn Suites Wilsonville

The Phoenix Inn Suites Wilsonville is a little more upscale than the La Quinta Inn and is also relatively new construction.   The rooms are clean and well appointed.  This hotel is located just a few blocks off an I-5 exit.

Best Western Willamette Inn

Best Westerns have consistent quality at most every location.  This Best Western Willamette Inn is not quite as new as the first two choices but still provides fine accommodations.  This hotel is located just a few blocks off an I-5 exit.
